 Neat Teaching Idea. 
         We know of a Nebraska MS that takes our notebook of Discrepant Event Demos and has 7th grade students choose a demo, build the equipment, work up the demonstration and then take these presentations down to the first grade classrooms.  The older students find the joy of building and learning the science concepts of the demo and presenting these exciting ideas to younger students.  The younger students find the excitement of seeing good science and can hardly wait until they can be presenters in the future.  This is a "Win-Win" situation for science education..
